David has been working in the aerospace industry since 1987. He has an MSC in Aerospace Vehicle Design from Cranfield College of Aeronautics. David is an EASA CVE where he is an integral component of part 21 subpart J organisations. David a chief engineer certificated the first aircraft to JAR-VLA.

He has worked on numerous civil & military aircraft projects on design, stress and certification. David has also been involved in marine projects including submarines. David also certificated an oil recovery hovercraft through Lloyds.

David has managed his company using experienced associates where he has established his business with regularly returning customers and Fineunit Ltd has become a “Prime Supplier” and a “Strategic Business Partner”.

Richard has 40 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Following the completion of a five-year engineering apprenticeship with British Aerospace, he obtained an MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design at Cranfield College of Aeronautics.

Having worked on numerous civil and military aerospace projects across the UK, he has gained broad experience in Static, and Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis of both metallic and composite structures.

Having overseen several significant projects, Richard’s experience covers all aspects of the design process, from initial concepts to final design.

Ross joined Fineunit in 2015 after graduating with a MEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering with Aeronautics from the University of Glasgow.

He has gained experience in aircraft stress analysis, developing skills in Finite Element Analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance and static analysis of both metallic and composite aircraft structures.

Graham has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Following the completion of a BEng at Liverpool University, he has worked on both civil and military aerospace projects for BAE Systems, Airbus, Bombardier, MBDA, Safran, Roxel, APPH and others.

He has extensive experience in structural analysis for Statics, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance covering metallic and composite structure using both hand calculations & finite element analysis.

His FEM experience covers Static, Fatigue, Dynamic (both normal modes & frequency response), Acoustic fatigue and birdstrike analysis. FEM packages used include PATRAN, NASTRAN, LSDYNA, FEMAP & ABAQUS.
